The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the decision that came into force on March 9, 2023, regarding the abolition of veterinary control of Ukrainian agricultural products that transit through the Republic of Poland to Polish seaports or other countries.
Such enhanced veterinary control led to significant queues of both wagons and containers, trucks with Ukrainian grain products, which rapidly accumulated on the border with Poland, and substantial delays and violations of the terms of delivery of cargo to the final recipients.
AmCham Ukraine member companies welcome the achieved approach considering the business community's interests and express gratitude to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine for constant support and close cooperation.
