Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine improved the procurement procedure for enteral feeds by introducing respective amendments to Common Procurement Vocabulary (DK 021:2015), following the respective Chamber’s proposal. This decision now allows to proceed easily with enteral feeds procurement through public procurement system “ProZorro”.
Previous wording of DK 021:2015 contained incorrect translation in the part of enteral feeds’ code, which led to misclassification of such products as a medicinal product. Given the fact that according to Ukrainian legislation enteral feed is not a medicinal product, its procurement procedure was de facto blocked.
As a result of coordinated efforts of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, Ministry of Health and business community on implementation of efficient translation of DK 021:2015 in accordance with provisions of the European Common Procurement Vocabulary, the procurement procedure for enteral feeds was improved.
