The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on adoption of the CMU Resolution "On Some Issues of Implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Plant Quarantine" that was made on November 15.
The mentioned CMU Resolution creates competitive conditions for laboratory research through the authorization of non-governmental laboratories. This will reduce the workload of the state phytosanitary laboratories and allow them to direct their resources to phytosanitary field monitoring in order to improve the phytosanitary condition of fields in Ukraine. The increase in the efficiency and quality of phytosanitary procedures will in turn increase the investment attractiveness of agrarian businesses in Ukraine.
