AmCham Ukraine welcomes the adoption of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) dated September 13, 2022 #1026 (Resolution), which, in particular, amends the CMU Resolution dated May 27, 2022 #634 “On Peculiarities of the Lease of State and Communal Property under Martial Law”.
The Resolution, among other things, provides for exemption from rent for tenants who:
- are port operators;
- use the property in the seaports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi, Mykolaiv, Olvia, Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky;
- use the property since February 24, 2022 and until the complete restoration of merchant navigation or the CMU’s establishment of the security level lower than level 3 in each of the mentioned seaports.
