On December 1, 2022, the Parliament adopted Draft Law #4187 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Support for the Development of National Industries of Subsoil Use" (Draft Law). The Draft Law aims to create a transparent, simple, and understandable subsoil use system and reduce excessive state influence on the industry.
The Chamber member companies' experts were actively involved in commenting on and improving the Draft Law in the course of its preparation for the second reading.
The proposals of the business community were taken into consideration and implemented in the current wording of the Draft Law before the second reading.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the adoption of this Draft Law and is grateful to the Members of Parliament for the efficient dialogue with the business community.
