The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (the Chamber) welcomes the adoption of the Draft Law #9234-d "On Hops and Hop Products" in the second reading and as a whole by the Parliament of Ukraine. The Draft Law introduces a European approach to regulating the production of hops and hop products in Ukraine.
On March 27, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Draft Law #9234-d "On Hops and Hop Products", incorporating proposals from the business community, namely the need to align Ukraine's legislation on labeling of hop products with the requirements of the European Union.
These changes contribute to the development of the industry and increase transparency in the market, which will create new opportunities for the growth of exports of Ukrainian products.
