The AmCham Ukraine welcomes passing Draft Law #6527-d "On Agricultural Cooperation" (hereinafter – Draft Law) in the first reading by the Parliament of Ukraine.
The Draft Law is going to regulate all key issues of the creation and operation of agricultural cooperatives in Ukraine in a single legislative act. This approach allows to create a comprehensive and easy-to-use legislative framework for agricultural cooperation, as well as to eliminate existing gaps between various legislative acts on this issue. At the same time, the adoption of mentioned Draft Law will allow to de-shadow the sphere and increase employment in the countryside.
The AmCham Ukraine has already provided an official support to Draft Law #6527-d and we are looking forward to its soonest adoption in the second reading.
