Eleven world-class companies united by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Packaging and Ecological Coalition, including ABINBEV EFES Ukraine, CANPACK, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola Beverages, Danone, ELOPAK-FASTIV, METRO Cash & Carry, Nestle, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble start launching producer responsibility organization (PRO) in the field of packaging.
AmCham Ukraine welcomes the initiative and is proud of the member companies that initiated the PRO launch in Ukraine.
Promote the implementation of extended producer responsibility (EPR) principle, “waste hierarchy,” and circular economy principles is one of the key priorities of the Chamber Sustainability Committee.
We are grateful to the representatives of the Ukrainian Government for supporting the initiative to establish the PRO and look forward to further cooperation towards the implementation of the EPR principle in Ukraine.
