Policy Win: Access to Register of Construction Activities in Certain Regions of Ukraine Was Renewed

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the renewal of access to the Register of Construction Activities (the Register) in certain regions of Ukraine.

AmCham Ukraine member companies, having the need for building new protective structures of civil protection for permanent usage, faced the problem of lack of access to the Register in certain regions of Ukraine, particularly in the Mykolaiv region.

In order to initiate at least the design of the new construction, there is a need to obtain the approval of urban planning conditions and, accordingly, a construction permit. Currently, the only possibility to start this procedure and obtain the appropriate permissions is full access to the Register.

We would like to express our gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and his team at the Ministry of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine for assistance in promptly solving the problem of access to the Register and all the support provided to Ukraine’s business community.
