Parliament adopted Draft Law #7418 amending Tax and Customs Codes to review certain benefits as a basis and as a whole.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the resumption of the regular customs tax regime as it will provide an opportunity to review and lift existing currency restrictions on purchasing foreign currency and payment for imported goods to foreign suppliers. This positive step will contribute to the increase of imports, supporting the economy, recovery, and development of business. The implementation of these changes will allow businesses to resume their activities, which in turn will have a positive impact on budget revenues.
We want to thank all AmCham Ukraine members who were actively involved in this advocacy process for their contribution. The business community is looking forward to the relief of current restrictions and the cancellation of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine #153 "On the List of Critical Import Goods" dated February 24, 2022.
