On July 15, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the updated version of Draft Law #3091 “On State Ecological Control” (Draft Law) in the first reading during its ad-hoc session.
The Chamber member companies support the reform of the state ecological control system. However, the updated Draft Law still contains risks of over-regulation of economic activity.
In order to minimize risks, the business community sees the need to improve this Draft Law. Therefore, the Chamber will continue advocating for the incorporation of the submitted business community’s proposals to the Draft Law before its second reading.
