The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the publication of the Draft CMU Resolution "On Amendments to the Procedure for Establishing Categories of Hotels and Other Facilities" (Draft Resolution) on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine on June 4, 2021.
The Draft Resolution is designed to adapt and modernize the existing Procedure and System for Establishing Categories of Hotels and Other Facilities intended for the provision of temporary accommodation services to international hotel classification systems and other accommodation facilities.
The Chamber Hospitality & Tourism Committee experts have been continuously advocating for establishing a new hotel categorization standards system and provided the respective proposals. We are grateful to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for taking the hotel categorization standards, suggested by the Chamber member companies’ experts, as the basis for the new system.
